The Campus Impact Forum engages a diverse group of students selected from across George Mason University in a day of brainstorming, collaboration, and reflection. Representing Mason’s extraordinarily global and multicultural community, Campus Impact Fellows work together under the leadership of an experienced facilitator to address a topic of vital interest to the institution. The Campus Impact Forum is not an empty academic exercise, but rather a chance for the University to benefit from the depth of personal experience, cultural diversity, creativity, and intellectual acuity that our students embody. By the end of the one-day Forum, Campus Impact Fellows have wrestled with the topic, listened to other Fellows in order to understand it through their eyes, and together propose promising, practicable ideas to a senior member of the University’s leadership.

Campus Impact Fellows are selected on the basis of their application, faculty recommendation, and a personal interview. The selection committee endeavors to achieve a high degree of diversity within the group to ensure broad representation of experience and ideas.

The Campus Impact Forum is hosted by the Office of International Programs and Services in partnership with the LEAD Office and the Office of the Ombudsman.
